Kilwinning Crosse Hosts SLOT for District 8

The brethren at Kilwinning Crosse served as hosts for 2016 SLOT training directed by the District Educational Officer (DEO) for District 8, RtWor Jeff St. Onge.  RtWor St. Onge requested that our own WBro Joseph Pack provide the instruction for the morning following the lodge’s monthly pancake breakfast.

Nearly all, if not all, of the lodges in the district were present.  The SLOT presentation was on the methodical duties of each officer followed by a discussion of etiquette and decorum in the lodge.  RtWor St. Onge and WBro Joseph Pack also encouraged participation in the Grand Lodge’s Correspondence Courses to increase individual proficiency in duties as an officer and as a Master Mason.
