Happy New Year to the Lodge!!

My first Trestle board of 2023!  

Greetings!!

Brethren, I am humbled, and I wish to thank you, for the opportunity and pleasure to serve as the Kilwinning Crosse Lodge 2-237 Worshipful Master. It truly is an honor – and I recognize its great importance to our future, and it is indeed a privilege and honor to serve. Additionally, allow me the opportunity to thank all that participated and supported the installation for all the officers…I firmly believe we have a great line of officers, and I look forward to working with you all. I certainly welcome the opportunity to learn from you during my year.

I also want to particularly recognize the efforts our Past Master Richard Fisher expended towards getting me ready, but each of you have played an important role in that training. I thank you all.  I also believe we have an exciting year before us…it starts now.

The first important event starts in February, where we will be hosting DDGM Daniel Thompson during our February stated meeting on 13 February. Additionally, I would like to plan on fraternal visits to other lodges during the DDGM’s official visit schedule, shown below:

Additionally, I have responded to a request from DDGM Thompson requesting support for the upcoming class; as I receive additional information from the DDGM as well as the ritual practice schedule, I will be asking some of you to volunteer as needed.

Finally, let me say again, I am so looking forward to this year….it will be exciting. Looking forward to seeing you all at our next stated on 9 January 2023!
