February 2023 Trestle Board
Brethren, we are having a wonderfully nice Winter 2023 so far. I am hopeful that this nice weather continues, and if so, we may see trees and greenery budding sooner than usual. Bowling Green is always beautiful dressed in all the spring greenery!
Getting right to business, Kilwinning Crosse 2-237 will be hosting DDGM Daniel Thompson during our February stated meeting on 13 February. As always, dinner will be served at 6:30 PM, with the normal $10 donation for the Ladies of the Eastern Star that are kind enough to provide the meal for us. I look forward to seeing everyone.
I want to further ask that if within the length of your cable tow, please plan on attending the DDGM’s visits to the lodges within the 8th Masonic District. I have included the schedule for these official visits in the Upcoming Events notes below, along with the date for our March 2023 stated communication. Further, I particularly want to invite any lodge members that wish to join the lodge officers at our Monday practice nights, and further remind everyone of the upcoming District School scheduled for February 28 at Fredericksburg Lodge 4. Each of these events are great opportunities to sharpen your ritual school, and exercise those mental muscle!
Finally, I affirmed Kilwinning Crosse lodge support to the upcoming one-day conferral on April 29th at Lodge 4, where all three masonic degrees will be conferred. The event, while not on the event list below, will be included in the March trestle board. Nonetheless, I am looking for volunteers; please ask me about it at this next stated communication.

I continue to be excited about the number of inquiries the lodge has been receiving from the Grand View website. We have several in the “exploratory loop”, with second conversations having been concluded. We will continue to work these new opportunities for new membership.
