Greetings, Brethren All,
Bro. Tim Lewis was examined on his FC Catechism prior to our November stated and did an exemplary job!
Brother Robert Vaughn (Sr. Deacon at Henrico Union Lodge No. 130) gave a program on the words “So Mote it Be” and explained the meaning behind it and why used in prayer in Lodge and Church. He received a big round of applause.
Mr. Tom Parke was presented with the Masonic Builders Award; we thanked him for his selfless actions in the community the brethren applauded him. . He accepted the award and thanked the Lodge.
We are planning on conferring the Master Mason’s Degree for Bro Tim Lewis on December 6th! If you are able provide any assistance, please contact Bro Andrew Coelho, RT Wor Tom Lewis, or myself.
168th Grand Master of Masons in Virginia, Most Worshipful Louis Kerford Campbell, will make his official visit to the 8th Masonic District on January 26th at 6:00pm – 8:30pm. The location will be at Independence Christian Church, 14023 Independence Rd. Ashland, Va. 23005. I have tickets available and the cost is $20 per person. Last year was great and I am sure this will just as fun!
Wor Bro (and Master Chef) Tom Wright is cooking his famous oysters for the December stated!! Please come out, enjoy some oysters and support the installation of the 2013 officers! If are able to assist Wor Bro Wright in the kitchen, please let someone know in advance!
