September 2013 Trestle Board
Greetings Brethren,
First off, I’d like to congratulate our newest Master Masons, Bro. Adam Woolridge and Bro. Hunter Napier. I
have no doubt that both these brothers are truly assets to our Fraternity.
I’d like to thank the officers and members of our lodge for all their help in raising Bros. Woolridge and Napier
on August 24th. I’d like to give a special thanks to Most Worshipful Bernie Duncan for his lecture and Wor. Tommy
Wright for alternating with me in the East.
Your lodge also recently hosted the District Educational Officer’s Subordinate Lodge Officer Training (SLOT)
training on August 17th. A special thanks to Wor. Ron Childress and Bro. Joe Pack for putting on quite the spread.
On Tuesday, September 12th at 7pm, we will be performing at least one Entered Apprentice Degree — possibly
a second. Bro. Pack will be presiding in the East. Please make every effort to come out and support Bro. Pack and
the rest of your lodge officers.
There are two more Child ID events coming up soon. The Bowling Green Harvest Festival will be held on
Saturday October 19th. We will be setting up a Child ID station at the lodge. The Carmel School is hosting a Fall
Festival on Saturday November 2nd and has invited us to set up a booth. I could really use your help with both
events.
I am still in need of a new chairman for the Blood Drive Committee. If you’re interested, please contact me.
I’ll do everything I can to ease you into the position and give you support.
One last note of business: A few weeks ago, we had to replace the air conditioner at the lodge. While my
officers and I attempted to get the best bid possible, the total cost was $4,450. This has wiped out our building fund
and a good deal of our operating account. I’m asking every member of this lodge to please contribute whatever you
can to help us offset this sudden expense.
Fraternally,
Andrew G. Coelho, WM
