May 2013 Trestle Board
Greetings Brethren,
This will be a rather busy next few weeks, so I’m send this trestle board out a little earlier than usual. Here’s what we have lined up:
On Saturday, April 27th, my wife and I will be hosting a lodge cookout from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Wives and families are encouraged to come join the fun. Please feel free to bring a side dish. And if you have a friend who has been thinking about joining the Fraternity, please bring him along to meet the brethren.
On Monday, April 29th at 7:00pm, we will be performing the Entered Apprentice degree for Adam Woolridge. Bro. Joe Pack will be presiding in the East. So please come out, support Bro. Joe and meet our newest candidate.
On Saturday, May 4th, we will be running a Child ID booth at the Ladysmith Day Festival from 11:00am-4:00pm. This event is held in Ladysmith Village off of Rt 1. There are plenty of important jobs other than working the computers. I will be contacting you in search of volunteers, but I sure would love it if you called me first. Our next stated is on Monday, May 13th at 7:30pm. This will be our Bring-a-Brother Night. If you know a brother who hasn’t been around lately, please invite him to the lodge. After a homemade pork BBQ dinner at 6:30pm, we will give these brothers a chance to meet the officers and receive a refresher course on the work.
Rt. Wor. Tom Lewis has informed me that we still have a few brothers who need to pay their 2013 dues. This cost of this year’s dues is $130. Please mail your check to P.O. Box 38, Bowling Green, VA 22427.
