Visit The Lodge

Kilwinning Crosse is happy to host visitors and offer tours of our facilities and artifacts.  We are located at 102 Chase Street in downtown Bowling Green, Virginia within walking distances of several other historic sites, shops, and dining.

Stated Communications.  Master masons are welcome to attend our Stated Communication on the 2nd Monday of each month.  Meetings start at 7:30PM with a dinner starting at 6:30PM.  Visitors, please be prepared to show a valid dues card and pass inspection from our Senior Warden.  Dress code is typically a coat during the winter months (Labor Day to Memorial Day) and business casual during the summer months (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

Degrees and Ritual Work.  We hold degrees as candidates are presented and welcome any masons who hold the degree on which the ritual is being conducted.  Please contact us for more information on degrees and ritual work.

Dinners and Breakfasts.  We welcome all guests, masons and otherwise, to our dinners held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30PM.  A donation of $10 per plate is requested to help offset costs.  This is a time of great camaraderie and fellowship between friends, family, and those who are simply curious.

Lodge Tours.  Our lodge can provide brethren who are eager to talk about the lodge’s artifacts, history, and artwork (including two large paintings from Brother Sidney King).  Simply contact us and let us know when you would like to tour our facility and we will be happy to accommodate your need.
